This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you interact with our websites, products, or services (collectively, the "Services").

Information You Provide

  • Email address — provided when you create an account. This is the only personal information required to use the Services.

Payment Information

  • All payments are processed by Stripe. Your payment card details are submitted directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. We receive only a transaction confirmation and your email address from Stripe.

License and Machine Information

  • When you claim a license, we store a machine identifier and machine name to bind your license to a specific device. This information is used solely for license management.

Local Data (Not Collected)

  • Recording sessions, EDLs, FCPXML files, clip mappings, and all other production data you create with Pixelrush remain entirely on your local machine. We do not access, collect, or store your production data.

Automatically Collected Information

  • Session cookies — used for authentication (see "Cookies" below).
  • External font services — our website loads fonts from Google Fonts and Fontshare. These services may receive your IP address and user-agent string when fonts are loaded. We do not control the data practices of these third-party services.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Services
  • Process purchases and manage your license
  • Send transactional emails (e.g., purchase confirmations, license notifications)
  • Respond to your inquiries and support requests
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

Cookies

We use a minimal number of cookies, all of which are strictly necessary for the Services to function. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or analytics.

Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with the following third-party processors only to the extent necessary for them to perform services on our behalf:

  • Stripe — payment processing. Receives your email address and payment information.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery. Receives your email address.
  • Google Fonts — font delivery. May receive your IP address and user-agent string.
  • Fontshare — font delivery. May receive your IP address and user-agent string.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests.

Data Retention and Security

We retain account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights
